Statement of Hawaii Income Tax Withheld and Wages Paid
Form HW-2 may be used by employers who want to file their annual tax returns. A copy of Form HW-2 will have to be mailed together with two copies of Hawaii Form HW-3 and a copy of federal Form W-2. All forms must be mailed to the Hawaii Department of Taxation, P.O. Box 3827, Honolulu, HI 96812-3827.

Hawaii Employer's Annual Return & Reconciliation of Hawaii Income Tax Withheld from Wages
Form HW-3 may be used by employers who want to file their annual tax returns. An employer will need to make two copies of the Hawaii Form HW-3 and mail them together with a copy of Form HW-2 and a copy of federal Form W-2. Form N-1 may be used by taxpayers who need to report their estimated income tax. Hawaii Form N-1 must be filed no later than April 20th. Payments are not required for the following cases: • The taxpayer’s estimated tax liability (if the taxable year is less than $500). • The taxpayer did not have any tax liability for the preceding taxable year.

Hawaii Application for Automatic Extension of Time to File Individual Income Tax Return
The N-101A form is used for Hawaii residents who seek an extension of the filing deadline for their state income tax returns. Successfully filing the N-101A automatically allows Hawaii residents a six month extension to file their N-11 or N-15 state income tax returns.

Hawaii Individual Part-year and Non-resident Income Tax Return
Form N-15 is the form used by all part-year and non-residents of Hawaii to file their Hawaii tax return. Their are no shorter or longer versions of Form N-15. Thus, although Form N-15 may be supplemented by additional forms and schedules, its presence is necessary in all part-year and non-resident Hawaii tax returns.
Hawaii Capital Gains & Losses (Form N-40)
Form N-40 Sch. D may be used by taxpayers who need to report any gains and losses that were generated from a sale or exchange of capital assets by an estate or trust. If a taxpayer wishes to report any sale or exchange of property other than capital assets, he or she will need to file Schedule D-1.

Hawaii Form N-13 2015
Hawaii Individual Resident Income Tax Return (Short)
If you are a Hawaiian resident, regardless of where you work, and you need to file a tax return, you need to look at Form N-13. N-13 is the short form that Hawaiian residents may use to file their state income tax returns. To file your return with Form N-13 you must make less than $100,000 of income and your income may only be sourced from compensation, interest, ordinary dividends, and unemployment compensation. If you do not meet these requirements, you will need to file your Hawaii return with Form N-11, the longer form for Hawaiian residents to file their returns with.
